The Flying Samaritans is a 501(c)3 tax exempt corporation

Admission Price is

$1,000.00 per driver + hotel

+ $150.00 per co-pilot

Includes all meals, wine tasting, car wash, official jacket and duffle bag and lots of goodies.

About the Flying Samaritans

Most of the Flying Samaritans members are from all areas of California and Arizona. Flying Samaritans International has 10 chapters operating clinics in 10-12 remote areas of Baja California.

The majority of the missions are held over 3-day weekends making it an easy commitment for medical professionals, translators, pilots, and students.

Our mission is to deliver health education and medical care to the underserved population of Baja Mexico. We are all volunteers and all of our services are provided free of charge.

Operating under Flying Samaritans International, a 501(c)3 corporation which holds quarterly board meetings in rotating locations, the Gold Coast membership meets monthly in San Luis Obispo.

The first mission of The Flying Samaritans was in October 1961 so this year is the 55th anniversary.

Friday, September 5th

7:00– 8:00 a.m.: Cars line up at famed Moss Motors in Goleta
Greeting from CEO, Continental Breakfast & Driver meeting, goodie bags, program review

8:00 a.m.: Tour departs tracing backroads of Santa Barbara County and nearby scenic roads


11:00 a.m.-12noon: Arrive in Solvang, tour Solvang Motorcycle Museum, and enjoy this grand historic town


1:30: Tour arrives at Los Alamos County Park for box lunch


2:30-5:00 p.m.: Continue backroads tour through Santa Barbara Wine Country to Pismo Beach, Stop for Wine tasting at acclaimed Foxen Vineyard (featured in film Sideways) and Kenneth Volk Vineyards


6:30 : Dinner-Santa Maria Style Barbecue at renowned British Sports Cars in San Luis Obispo

Return to Shore Cliff Pismo Beach




Saturday, September 6th

7:00– 8:00 : a.m. Continental Breakfast & Driver meeting


8:00 a.m. : Tour departs, coastal route to enchanting Cayucos, turning inland for Paso Robles Wine Country, travel through the Paso Robles Wine region and the celebrated Adelaides
Turn inland for historic Parkfield (earthquake central of California)


12:00 Noon :lunch in memorable Parkfield Cafe
(after lunch) return to Paso Robles        

Wine tasting at Cass Winery and Sculpterra Winery


4:00 p.m. : Arrive at the esteemed Paso Robles Inn


5:00-6:30 : Vehicle bubble scrub & hygiene at Paso Robles Inn


6:30 : Dinner at Smith Motor Group


8:00p.m.- Midnight : No host bar, slide shows, extravagant lies contest, raffle prizes, awards


Sunday, September 7th

8:00 am-9:00a.m.: Continental Breakfast & Driver meeting


9:00 a.m. : Tour departs, tracing portions of route 1 scenic roads over Santa Lucia mountains to the Salinas valley. Stops at Mission San Antonio & Mission San Miguel


9:00 a.m. : Alternative excursion to River Oaks Spa (some additional costs may apply)


1:00 pm- :Tour Estrella Warbirds Museum & Woodland Auto Display


2 p.m.: Lunch at "Warbirds"


3:00 p.m. : Concluding Champagne toast for departure
